This week I am waiting on ...

Add To Goodreads!!!!

Synopsis:

Remy O’Malley heals people with touch—but every injury she cures becomes her own. Living in a household with an abusive stepfather, she has healed untold numbers of broken bones, burns, and bruises. And then one night her stepfather goes too far.

Being sent to live with her estranged father offers a clean start and she is eager to take it. Enter Asher Blackwell. Once a Protector of Healers, Asher sacrificed his senses to become immortal. Only by killing a Healer can a Protector recover their human senses. Falling in love is against the rules between these two enemies. Because Remy has the power to make Protectors human again, and when they find out, they’ll becoming for her—if Asher doesn’t kill her first.
Why oh why?

Corrine Jackson!!!!!!! I wanted to read this book even before I read the synopsis because it is written by Corrine Jackson! Jackson is the sweet author of my favorite book of 2012 - at the moment- If I Lie (you should totally buy it!). I cannot stop thinking about this heartbreaking, unforgettable book. So, I am ready to read her second book Touched

I love the idea of the healer gaining the injuries she heals. The story sounds enjoyable. I hope Remy and Asher are well-dimensional characters. And I love star-crossed lovers, which I am sure they will be.

What are you waiting on?

  3. Since I'm now madly in love with Corrine Jackson after reading If I Lie, I need this book immediately. Love that she's going the paranormal route with this one and this sounds like it's going to be another emotionally intense story with a forbidden romance. LOVE IT!

  6. If I wasn't already excited for this, I'd want to read it just by the author's name aswell.... and I've yet to read If I Lie!! it's because of the AMAZING praise been going around that has me already fangirling over Corrine <3 I love the whole heal-people-with-your-touch thing, so I'm excited to see what Corrine does with this!

  13. Oh wow, this sounds totally awesome! A girl who can heal but unfortunately gains the injuries herself? Just wow!

I remember you loved If I Lie so I really should get my hands on that soon and maybe pick this up afterwards?
