I will always remember my first blogspiration from last year, when I shared my favorite quote of all time and why it inspired me. That quote was Harry Potter's resolve to face the future bravely was based on advice Hagrid gave him. This year my first blogspriation will be advice Hagrid gave Harry and Ron that I feel is important and amazing advice.

It is important to remember that while inanimate objects like wonderful books are important to me and while I have a busy life that distracts me, it is important to always be there for my friends.

This is going to be a Harry Potter theme blogspiration because well I love the series and it is currently nearing the end of the month of Harry Potter's birthday. 

"Its our choices, Harry, that show who we truly are, 

far more then our abilities." - Albus Dumbledore

This quote continuously reminds me to think wisely when I make choices. Every choice I make, at every moment, effects others. It is a distraction to focus on being envious of others talents. Its more important to make choices that help others and to make choices with good intentions. 

There will be some Harry Potter related spoilers beyond this point. 

What place would the Wizarding World end up in if the many amazing characters of Harry Potter focused on their talents instead of making good choices? If they focused their talents of magic to rule the world viciously like Lord Voldemort?

Harry Potter made many choices through his time at Hogwarts. He choose to save the world because he wanted to and loved the people in it. Not because that was what people expected him to do.

What impresses me most about Herminone is not her talent of being incredibly gifted, it was her many amazing choices. I will always admire her for not choosing to estrange from Harry when everyone disliked him after he became the Fourth Champion of the Twiwizard Tournament. I love how Herminone instead choose to help Harry prepare for his tasks and stay alive, to be a true friend.

Blogspiration- When There Was Music!

When you will be reading this blogspiration, I will be at the beach where my internet connection is limited to my small smart-phone so I will not be able to post another post till next Sunday. 

Still, I am excited to share will all of you two of my favorite songs in the world!

They are both songs that make me happy and remind me to take chances!

"I'm Yours" by James Mraz was introduced to me last summer when I was in Paris. I was walking with my friends in a summer program, eating a delicious nutella crepe, when my friends and I heard this song playing loudly. We decided to see what was going on and what we found was a miraculous sight. 

This man did this and more tricks with the ball to the beat of "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz!

I also love the song itself because it is a magnificent song about love and sweet to listen too!

It is all about how Sydney Sage and Adrian Ivashkov's romantic relationship should be like. 

The other song I choose for this blogspiration is "Say What You Need To Say" by John Mayer. I love this song because it is all about being brave enough to do say what you always wanted to tell others and trust that others want to hear about your opinions and personal problems. 

The worst problems can be solved by a little venting.

This will be my first blogspiration where I introduce a beautiful quote brought to my attention by my wonderful sister. My sister knew immediately how much I would connect to this quote! Enjoy!

Blogspiration - The Power of A Song

I never imagined that I would be able to find a song that spoke to my heart as much as Stand By Me by Ben E. King. But recently I discovered an unforgettable song that has influenced my life in many ways. I hope everyone enjoys and gathers inspiration from my story of my discovery of this song and how it has changed my life. 


We Are Young by the band Fun is an amazing song that I discovered a few weeks ago riding home on my bus. I will always remember the day. I just spent the day, during my free time, reading The Golden Lily by Richelle Mead. I just finished the ending when I heard the following lyrics from the school bus's radio.

"Tonight 

We are young

So we set the world on fire 

We can burn brighter 

Than the sun." - Fun

These words spoke to me. I just finished an amazing book and I realized that although I am sad because a book I love is over and I would never be able to read it for the first time again, I am still young. I still have time to experience a pleasurable reading of a book for the first time again. There is still time to take changes and enjoy being young. I always want to live those amazing days when everything is perfect. I wish life could be perfect forever. 


And now, whenever I hear this song, I feel completely happy and reminisce about that book. Its so nice and so rare for me to find a song that reminds me of a book I love. 

Then, I was reading on the same school bus Rivals by Lauren Kunze and Rina Onur when the song rang from the radio again. (during intense scene between Callie and Gregory I must add) Now every time I hear this song I also fondly reminisce on that outstanding book! 


Finally, the greatest piece of power and inspiration this song has is to not regret mistakes. Regret not learning from them. The speaker of this song subtly evokes a story of a young man who made a mistake and is now dealing with the consequences. 


I made so many embarrassing mistakes the last two weeks. But each mistake I made is an experience I will never forget. All my mistakes have inspired me to try harder in dealing with problems that are not easy to solve.

This morning I'm feeling reflective emotions after listening and dancing to a beautiful song called Stand By Me by Ben E. King. I heard this marvelous song for the first time during the movie Stand By Me, directed by Rob Reiner. I danced happily that first time and ever since then, whenever I play this song on my Ipod I start dancing.


My favorite lines in this wonderful song is:

I just love how this song is about a person who wants to help another and how it reveals the  importance of friends. This song has a beautiful and glorious sentimental melody that causes me to feel joy and hopeful.

Last night I watched the romantic and heartwarming comedy Sleepless in Seatle, which is directed by Rob Reiner. I love all his movies. My favorite aspect of Reiner's movies is how realistic and hilarious his movies are. I chose a Rob Reiner quote as my Blogspiration for today!

“You have x amount of days on this planet, and if you’ve given someone more pleasure than he would have gotten, wow, what a thing to be able to do!”

I adore this quote because it reminds me of the importance making a significance in a person's life and how wonderful I feel when someone else has made my life, even for a moment, perfect bliss. 


The day I joined Twitter, I experienced a afternoon of total exultance. This is how the story goes. I tweeted to Lauren Kunze, the author of my favorite book of 2011, how much I enjoyed her latest book. Lauren responded, a few minutes later, by stating how much she enjoyed the reviews I wrote about her books! My life was completely perfect during the next few days. I was that happy.

This week I choose a quote from a fictional boy that I a completely in love with!

This weeks amazing, inspirational quote is brought to you from the charismatic, gorgeous, fun, hilarious and utterly amazing, Adrian Ivashkov! He is from one of my favorite vampire series, Vampire Academy!

In the first book of the spin-off to VA, Bloodlines by Richelle Mead, I discovered a quote by him that I completely adored. 

Well here is Adrian's marvelous line that he told to Sydney, the protagonist of the Bloodline series!

“The greatest changes in history have come because people were able to shake off what others told them to do.”

Sydney dismissed it, but I can see the remarkable validity and sageness of this quote. This is good advice that illustrates the importance to remembering tenacious historical figures and how important it is to take a chance. This quote is dear to me because it reminds me to break away from conformity and just do what I want to do. It reminds me to not listen to orders but abide to suggestions and take part in debates.

The quote I choose is from my favorite novel as a child. I always loved  unique story ,  Holes,  by Louis Sachar. The following quote is the song the Yelnats family sang. The purpose of the song was that once another family member sang this line to a certain person, the other person's life would be better. This is a bittersweet line that I love to sing because of its sweetness.

One day, I was looking through my late grandmother's old books and I found an old dusty, brown hardcover book. On it was a signature dedicated to my Grandmother from the poet Edna St. Vincent Millay. The first poem I saw is a line that I still cherish today.

"My candle burns at both ends/It will not last the night;/But ah, my foes, and oh, my friends/It gives a lovely light." -Edna St. Vincent Millay

This marvelous quote is all about appreciating the amazing, perfect moments of the past and to be happy when those moments happen. This quote also began my journey to loving poetry. I hope everyone tries reading poems. Edna St. Vincent Millay is one of the funniest poets ever. 

Here is a poem I wrote awhile ago of me speaking to Edna's luminescent candle. 

Dusty laces of red hair

Scatter around you

Resting on the table

You lie and burn bright.

As time goes on you flicker on and off.

First on your right end and then your left.

You won't last the night

As time goes on you will dim, flicker, burnout.

Reflected in your magnificent light

I remember happy memories of times of joy.

What makes me smile more than anything else is hearing my favorite inspiring quote of all time.

The quote I choose is about embracing the future even if you are scared. This is my favorite ending line of any book I ever read. I love this line because it provokes the need to confront the uncertain and scary future. This quote inspired me to take chances like creating a blog and trying to promote a Down Memory lane meme. It inspired me to wake up every day and try new things like eating cheese even though I disliked the flavor before.
