Today I am sharing a quote that has journeyed through many wonderful variations that all aim to share that live is to be enjoyed and to live every moment to its full advantage.
The original of the quote is the following. It is by Mark Twain who's real name is Samuel Clemmins. I think is is really exciting how one of the best author's ever has an outstanding pseudonym.
Sing
like no one's listening,
love like you've never been hurt,
dance like nobody's
watching,
and live like its heaven on earth.
I will always love this quote because it reminds me to take chances!
Thanks for reading!
Love that quote! And it's so true. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
Ooh, ours have similar elements this week with the dancing! :) I love this quote... Mark Twain definitely has some good ones. Great pick!

It's so beautiful. :-)
ReplyDeleteBut hard to do, sometimes.
YES YES YES!! Agreed, sometimes it is hard but it's such a great reminder. Can you imagine how AMAZING it would be if everyone lived that out? LOVE!!
ReplyDeleteI love that it is so cliche but so true. It makes me giggle every time I read it because I love it so darn much!
ReplyDeleteI have that as a fabulous magnet.
ReplyDeleteAlso: I'm SO EXCITED that GoF is your favourite Hpotts because it is MY favourite too! I love all the mystery and the letters from Sirius and that Moaning Murtle looks at Cedric's peen because Cedric is so dreamy.
How do I not know who Mark Twain is?? I really need to catch up on my awesome authors :') I actually had no idea what a pseudonym was until I read The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer... LOL! But thats totally not the point x) That quote was truly beautiful and wholeheartedly blogspirational, Rachel! <3
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing, sweet sweet sweetie pit! :)
Hi, Rachel! (: It's great that Mark Twain wrote something so nice and simple... I really like it. And while, yes, it is cliche, as Kristin said, it's a great reminder. Thanks for this post! (:
ReplyDeleteOh, Rachel, I ADORE this quote so so so SOOOO much!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I NEVER knew that Mark Twain was a Pseudonym! I know about the Bell/Bronte psuedonyms, but WOW! ♥
