Waiting On Wednesday

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill from Breaking the Spine where bloggers can showcase books they are eagerly anticipating! Its a great way to add new fantastic books to your TBR pile!

This week I am waiting on Burn for Burn by Jenny Han and Siobhan Vivian.

Publication Date: September 18th, 2012
Publisher: Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers

BIG GIRLS DON'T CRY...
THEY GET EVEN.

Lillia has never had any problems dealing with boys who like her. Not until this summer, when one went too far. No way will she let the same thing happen to her little sister.

Kat is tired of the rumours, the insults, the cruel jokes. It all goes back to one person– her ex-best friend– and she's ready to make her pay.
Four years ago, Mary left Jar Island because of a boy. But she's not the same girl anymore. And she's ready to prove it to him.Three very different girls who want the same thing: sweet, sweet revenge. And they won't stop until they each had a taste.

Why?
I have not had a chance to read either of these authors' other books yet, but I have heard great remarks about their books. I wish I could have read this book at the beach this summer. It sounds like the perfect beach read for me because I love relaxing contemporary books with a little flair of vengeance!
I cannot wait to dive into this book because it sounds like a fun-filled ride.

Thanks for Reading!

  4. Oh my gosh Rachel, you have no idea how happy it makes me to know that you haven't read anything by Jenny Han either! I was beginning to think I was the only one and that I clearly sucked at life for not having done so:) Maybe we can both try this one and experience Jenny Han together!

  6. I've read some pretty interesting reviews, including Sam's and I think I'll have to read this eventually. It's not my cup of tea exactly, but it sounds interesting enough for me to make an exception.
    Great pick, Rachel!

  7. YES YES YES!!!! I CAN'T WAIT for Burn for Burn - it sounds like the ultimate contemporary! I've read The Summer I Turned Pretty but still need to finish the second and last in the trilogy! I've heard good things about Siobhan Vivian too :) Hope we both get to read this soon, Rachel!

  8. I've read books by both authors and I can safely say that this book should be well worth waiting for, Rachel! :) Doesn't this sound so amazing?? And I've actually heard this has a hint of supernatural tucked into contemporary -- sort of like being at the beach with a bunch of normal people and having a mermaid randomly popping up! Cool, right? x)

LOL amazing pick for your WOW this week, Rachel! I'm going to start reading this soon so I'll definitely let you know what I think! :) <3
