Hi Everyone!
This week I am participating in an amazing event called Armchair BEA. You can find information about the excitement here! I am looking forward to meeting the participants!
I love reading, watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer episodes, enjoying Rob Reiner or Christopher Nolan movies, listening to music, especially Stand By Me by Ben E. King and We Are Young by the band Fun, and hanging out with friends. I love chatting with my fellow bloggers and recommending my favorite books to the book blogging community. I have been blogging since January 16th, 2012. I started blogging because I wanted to have the chance to tell book lovers my opinions on books I read and something to do while I impatiently waited for books to come out.
If you could eat dinner with any author or character, who would it be and why?
Adrian Ivaskov! Ever since I read his first scene in Frostbite by Richelle Mead, I wanted to meet him. He is funny, exciting and unafraid to challenge society's rules. I'm sure it would be an enjoyable dinner!
Which is your favorite post that you have written that you want everyone to read?
My favorite post was my first and only discussion post so far.
Its called: Element Control: Discussion Post!
The idea came to me one day as I was walking home. I was thinking about a book I was currently editing a review of, Storm by Brigid Kemmerer. I thought of what element I would love to control and I became curious to know what others would wan to control. I am a very curious person, so I decided to create a discussion post on: What element would you want to control and why?
I will always be thankful for Sarah, Mimi, Sara, Alexandra, Jasprit and Hilda's unforgettable answers!
What literary location would you most like to visit? Why?
I will always remember my elementary school years, waiting to turn eleven. I stubbornly believed that once I turned eleven, I would find an owl perch outside my door with a Hogwarts letter on its leg. I always wanted to go to the wonderful magical school of Hogwarts because I wanted to learn Defense Against the Dark Arts, be Neville's friend, be capable of magic and to have the chance to fly in the sky.
What is your favorite book you have read so far in 2012?
My favorite book I read this year is tied between The Golden Lily by Richelle Mead and The Ivy: Rivals by Lauren Kunze and Rina Onur. Both books had endings I cannot stop thinking about, outstanding characters, are well-writen and full of meaningful drama. Both books caused me to question my life choices and provided a chance to become completely absorbed in a wonderful story.
Thanks for reading!
This is great! If only we were all able to attend the real BEA! And I love that you chose Adrian ;)

Adrian is such a rule breaker ;). But I love him. He's honest, and doesn't fake who he is. And I can't wait for The Golden Lily.

Ahahaha Adrian!! :) :) You rock! :) :) I said Rose Hathaway! :P :P hihi so cool! And Golden Lily <3 <3 Aww, I can't wait to read it!! Just a bit more and it will be in my hands :) Great introduction post Rachel!! :) ;)
ReplyDeleteBuffy! You can never go wrong with Buffy! Lol. I need to read Bloodlines. I've finished the VA series, but haven't started on the spin-off yet!
ReplyDeleteBuffy literally changed the way that I watch television forever! When that show was on, I watched it like the air I breathe, like it was the second skin that I wore, and the religion I believed in. rotfl. I know that probably sounds pretty freaky to you right now, but reading is like that for me too and blogging about the books that I read. So, naturally I gravitate towards anyone who enjoys this kickass show.
ReplyDeleteAgain, Adrian Ivashkov! Can I just say that...I love you!!! ♥ For reals, you totally rock my face off hardcore. You're favorites seem to be my favorites for some reason and I totally admire you and your blog, it's top notch.
