Hello Everyone and Happy Friday!
The question of this week is "What would you prefer: reading your favorite book over and over again until you got sick of it or reading 100s of mediocre books? And why?
Easy! I would definitely prefer to read my favorite books a million times because they are special to me and I always will be able to find events in each of them that I can't get sick of. I already re-read my favorite books over and over again.
For everyone on a WordPress Blog, I provided LinkyFollowers on the left.
Hi Rachel,
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower and new to FF. Great response. I'm not much of a re-reader but I totally understand how rereading a good book can be enriching and how you can pick up on things that you might not have discovered during previous readings.
I agree! I would love to read my favorite book again and again.

Hi, thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm following you back.
ReplyDeleteHopping through. Yup, I'd read my fav books a million times too.

Oh gosh. WHAT a great question. I have to choose one? I think...how many great books? If it could be--20, then that's what I'd choose. The book would read differently and mean something different to me by the time I finished the other 19 and got back to it.
ReplyDeleteBut if it were only 1, I'd have to say the mediocre books, because I think even from not-great books, there are some things of value to glean, and variety is important to me.
I wonder if anyone has read the same book a million times? Maybe a short book, considering no one can live a million days, unless of course you could reach almost 3,000 years old...ok I thought to much about this. XOXO - Parajunkee

ReplyDeleteI wonder too. I guess I can re-read a short story near that many times but over a span of many years.
When I re-read books I love I usually re-read them a few months after I last read them so I don't know the whole story by heart when I read it.
Just following you back and I love your answer!!!
ReplyDeleteReread for me as well. :) Thanks for stopping by the blog! Have a nice weekend.
