Feature and Follow #2

Hello Everyone and Happy Friday!

The question of this week is "What would you prefer: reading your favorite book over and over again until you got sick of it or reading 100s of mediocre books? And why?

Easy! I would definitely prefer to read my favorite books a million times because they are special to me and I always will be able to find events in each of them that I can't get sick of. I already re-read my favorite books over and over again.

For everyone on a WordPress Blog, I provided LinkyFollowers on the left.

  1. Hi Rachel,

I'm a new follower and new to FF. Great response. I'm not much of a re-reader but I totally understand how rereading a good book can be enriching and how you can pick up on things that you might not have discovered during previous readings.

  2. I agree! I would love to read my favorite book again and again.

  3. Great answer, Rachel! Here is my F&F. A new follower! I would love, if you could follow my blog at Books Are Magic.

  13. Hi, thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm following you back.

  14. Hopping through. Yup, I'd read my fav books a million times too.
    My Hop

  15. Oh gosh. WHAT a great question. I have to choose one? I many great books? If it could be--20, then that's what I'd choose. The book would read differently and mean something different to me by the time I finished the other 19 and got back to it.

But if it were only 1, I'd have to say the mediocre books, because I think even from not-great books, there are some things of value to glean, and variety is important to me.

  16. I wonder if anyone has read the same book a million times? Maybe a short book, considering no one can live a million days, unless of course you could reach almost 3,000 years old...ok I thought to much about this. XOXO - Parajunkee

I wonder too. I guess I can re-read a short story near that many times but over a span of many years.
When I re-read books I love I usually re-read them a few months after I last read them so I don't know the whole story by heart when I read it.

  18. Just following you back and I love your answer!!!

  19. Reread for me as well. :) Thanks for stopping by the blog! Have a nice weekend.
