Top Ten Tuesday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Day Everyone!

First, Happy Birthday J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and Neville Longbottom!

Second, Happy Book Birthday Hide and Seek by Sara Shepard!

Third, Yay for the first time I am going to take part in Top Ten Tuesday! I have been wanting to do this meme for awhile now but I have not found the perfect topic and the time till now. I am so delighted to finally be able to take part in it!

Top Ten Characters I’d Like To Switch Places With For 24 Hours is an amazing topic idea!

Top Ten Tuesday is a wonderful meme that I always wanted to take part in. I creating lists! It is hosted by the wonderful group at The Broke and the Bookish!

1. Hermione Granger from the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling

My top choice. The character I would love to be. The character I admire above all others. I admire how she is more then just a smart girl. She is a smart girl who is loyal and cares about her friends. She is courageous, determined and inspiring. I always dreamed about being part of the famous trio that are true friends to each other and to go to my dream school of Hogwarts. My day as Hermione would be a day I would never forget. I would love to be her on the day where she did an ingenious trick against Umbridge (that toad) and went to the department of mysteries in the fifth book.

2. Sydney Sage from the Bloodlines series by Richelle Mead

She can see Adrian Ivaskov as much as she wants. 'Nuff said. Also, she is really smart, loyal, caring and has an exciting life. If I was her for 24 hours, the first thing I would do would be to walk up to Adrian and say, very sagely, "All right, lets have a secret romantic relationship. We will only tell Eddie, Jill and Angeline. Well, Abe will know too because well he finds out about everything."

3. Cammie Morgan from the Gallagher Girls series by Ally Carter

I always wanted to be a spy. She is sweet, funny, brave and extraordinary. I will have so
much fun during my school day at Gallagher Academy, learning how to be a spy!

4. Katsa from the Graceling Realm series by Kristin Cashore

Katsa sure has a hard life, but I love the world she lives in. I would love to meet Po, Prince Raffin and be able to go on the adventure Katsa went on in Graceling.

5. Emma Paxton from the Lying Game series by Sara Shepard

I always wanted a twin. Emma has a twin but she will never be able to meet her because, well, her twin was murdered. Emma is trying to solve the murder mystery of her twin Sutton Mercer while pretending to be Sutton. I love to use my own knowledge of a theory I have of who the culprit is and hopefully solve the mystery. I also feel connected to Emma as a character and would love to let her have a day off from the stress of acting like another person. Its a dream come true for an actor like me to act like my alter ego (which Sutton truly is).

6. Captain Holly Short from the Artemis Fowl Series

Holly is a fierce, loyal fairy who always stands up for what she believes in and never backs down from a challenge. I would be honored to be her for a day.

7. Jenny from Teen Idol by Meg Cabot

A normal teenage girl who becomes friends with a famous movie star. Jenny is an awesome person with a wonderful life. She is the type of person people gravitate to whenever they need a listener. And I sure like listening and helping people.

8. Mimi from the Ivy Series by Lauren Kunze (An amazing series that I urge everyone to read!)

Mimi is a funny, friendly french college student who always knows how to lighten up everyone's feelings in the room!

9. Tori from the Darkest Power series by Kelley Armstrong

A powerful witch who never backs down from a confrontation. Tori is very intelligent, snarky and a fun character!

10.  Sam from the Drama series by Paul Ruditis

A fantastic actress with two fantastic, loyal best friends combined with hilarious wit and determination. I would love to be her for a day. Especially the day of opening (and closing) night of the show the Wizard of Oz where she had an unusual time performing as Dorothy in the first book.

Thanks for reading!!!!!!!

I'm so happy to do this meme that, for a long time, I admired and enjoyed reading people's answers on the brilliant range of topics.

  1. YAY! Rache's participating in TTT!!! I'm kinda sad that I'm not anymore now though. :( But what a great topic to start out on, huh?? Wow I have to say I agree with you on almost all of them (some I haven't heard off but sound awesome). Hermione is a BIG YES for me too. She's smart, funny, caring... and have I mentioned smart??? But I would also choose Mia from The Princess Diaries. She's a princess!! I mean, come on people!! And she's just really cool. xxx LOVELY POST, RACHE! xxx

  4. I would absolutely switch places with Hermione too Rachel! Who wouldn't want to spend a little time in Hogwarts? I think I would probably agree with Katsa as well if I'd read Graceling, I really need to make time to do that! And please, please, send me to the Vampire Academy world so I can hang out with Adrian and Dimitri!

  6. I would also really enjoy being able to fight like Katsa for a day. And sparring with Po. That would be super-fun.

  7. Yay! Hermione Granger would probably my first choice too. Imagine for 24 hours I could go to Hogwarts, roam around the castle, talk to Harry and Ron, see awesome creatures, cast spells, make a potion! That would be totally amazing! :D

  11. What a fun post! I honestly don't know who I would pick.
Hermione would be fun, Anna from Anna and the French Kiss and most recently a book I will be reviewing tomorrow, Dante's Girl!

  12. I only know the top three characters, but they're awesome choices and the other characters sound awesome too! I don't really like Sydney that much, but I'd be willing to take her place just because of Adrian. Adrian...*swoon*. Ahem. Such a fun post and what a brilliant topic! :)

  13. Great choices! I don't know if I could switch with Emma. I don't think I would be all that great at pretending to be someone else!

    Thanks for sharing! :)

  14. Great choices, Rachel! Swapping places with Hermione would be like a dream come true. I would be tempted to work out a way to make it permanent too. ;) First of all, living in the wizarding world would be fantastic. And secondly, who wouldn't want to hang out with Harry Potter and Ron Weasley? :)
